Welcome to Eclypso.com What does the word "eclypso" have to do with photography? Nothing. Nothing at all. All of the good photography words and phrases are already taken so I just picked a word I like. This site is primarily a place for me to showcase my photography.
After all, what good are photographs if no one ever sees them?
Galleries....
There are endless possibilities for categorizing groupings or collections of photos. Such groupings are often called “galleries.” I’ve created some galleries of my own. Some are themed, others are not. Click on the “Galleries” link to visit my galleries page.
The Rock N Roll Collection...
Back in the late 70s/early 80s I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. I used to go to clubs and see bands. Sometimes I brought my camera. I did most of my shooting at The Keystone Berkeley as the lighting was excellent. I also did some shooting at other venues such as Berkeley Square, The Mab, The Stone, Le Disque, The I-Beam and Off Broadway. I'm not a flash photographer. I shot with a Pentax ME loaded with Tri-X pushed to 1600. I used a 135mm 3.5 lens. I developed my film in my kitchen sink (shake the can) and printed in the hall closet. Last year I scanned some of those negatives.
Around the World....
Over the past few years I have had an opportunity to travel quite a bit. I usually take my camera along and take more than a few photographs. I am way behind as far as putting them on-line. I'm working on it!!!! At the moment, you can enjoy some shots from Aarhus, Denmark; Valparaiso, Chile; Santorini, Greece; St Petersburg, Russia; Stockholm, Sweden and Istanbul, Turkey.
